The LEAP Academy's STEM-to-School program provides enrichment activities that connect-the-dots for youth. We recognize that a well-organized, teacher designed curriculum that is aligned with the industry, helps to develop STEM proficiency. With this in mind, we work with STEM teachers, industry experts, and educators in the community to implement and engage youth in hands on, inquiry-based learning projects that mirror the work that fuels today's economy. Successful outcomes include a greater awareness of STEM and its reach, an improved attitude toward pursuing STEM in college, and a higher likelihood of pursuing advanced and/or specialized degrees in STEM fields.
By the end of 2021, The LEAP Academy is working to grow its STEM education network by 10%.
